Danielle Vines has learned many life lessons at the tender age of 11 that have come from playing tennis.
She's learned patience. Last year, when she jammed her wrist playing basketball, she had to take a month off. Not an easy thing for a kid who rarely sits still, but she did what needed to be done in order to return to the game she loved.

For a kid used to playing multiple sports, it takes a powerful passion to narrow it down to just one. But that’s what happened to Calhoun, Georgia’s Megen Cochran, who used to play basketball, softball, soccer, and run track. After attending a local tennis camp when she was six-years-old, she gradually realized that this sport was the one for her.
